THANK YOU FOR YOUR GIFT!

With a grateful heart, thank you to those who have generously made a commitment to the 2024 Archbishop’s Charities and Development Drive (ABCD).  As of last weekend, 280 of our parish and school families have responded.  Through your generosity, the ABCD can bring hope by serving others in their time of need, help our children continue on their journey of learning and prepare them for the future, and raise a unified voice for peace and dignity of all human life.  Together, we are One in Faith, One in Hope and One in Charity.

If you have not yet made your gift to the ABCD, we need your help and cooperation to reach our parish goal of $155,161. Please make your pledge and return it directly to the Archdiocese of Miami.  You can also make your pledge online at www.isupportabcd.org, designating St. Kevin as your parish.  We are confident that, with God’s help and yours, we will unite as a Catholic community to spread the love of Christ beyond our parish doors.  Thank you, and God bless you.

Con un corazón agradecido, gracias a aquellos que generosamente se comprometieron con la Campaña de Caridades y Desarrollo del Arzobispo (ABCD) de 2024.  Desde el fin de semana pasado, 280 de nuestras familias de la parroquia y el colegio han respondido.  A través de su generosidad, la campaña ABCD puede traer esperanza sirviendo a los demás en su tiempo de necesidad, ayudar a nuestros niños a continuar su camino de aprendizaje y prepararlos para el futuro y preparar una voz unificada para la paz y la dignidad de toda la vida humana. Juntos, somos Uno en la Fe, Uno en la Esperanza, y Uno en la Caridad.

ABCD - Love in Action

Jesus left a beautiful legacy of love- a unifying love.  It is one of the greatest gifts he has given us, and our faith calls us to live out that love by sharing it with others.  His love is kind and patient; it is enduring through difficult times and rejoices in the truth.  The love we are called to live is not found in career success or material things, but rather is centered on Jesus, and living out his legacy by helping others and holding them in our hearts, as He did. 

We invite you to embrace the spirit of ABCD and put Love into Action. As followers of Christ, we are called to show love and compassion to those who are less fortunate. By participating in the ABCD, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in need. Let us unite in love and take action together.  It is an opportunity for us to demonstrate the love of Christ through our actions.

By supporting the ABCD, we can provide vital resources and support to those who are struggling.  Through your love and compassion, you can make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need. ABCD - Amor en Accion

Jesús dejó un hermoso legado de amor, un amor unificante. Es uno de los regalos más grandes que nos ha dado, y nuestra fe nos llama a vivir ese amor compartiéndolo con los demás. Su amor es amable y paciente; su amor soporta tiempos difíciles y se regocija en la verdad. El amor que estamos llamados a vivir no se encuentra en el éxito profesional o en las cosas materiales, sino que se centra en Jesús y en vivir su legado ayudando a los demás y manteniéndolos en nuestros corazones, como Él lo hizo.

Lo invitamos a abrazar el espíritu de ABCD y poner Amor en Acción. Como seguidores de Cristo, estamos llamados a mostrar amor y compasión a los menos afortunados. Al participar en el ABCD, podemos hacer una diferencia significativa en la vida de individuos y familias necesitadas. Unámonos en amor y tomemos acción juntos. Es una oportunidad para demostrar el amor de Cristo a través de nuestras acciones.

Al apoyar el ABCD, podemos proporcionar recursos vitales y apoyo a quienes están luchando. A través de su amor y compasión, puede tener un impacto tangible en la vida de los necesitados. How You Make a Difference

The donation you make through your pledge to the ABCD is used to support the works of mercy throughout the year.  Together we are able to educate and evangelize; support struggling parishes and schools; assist in the formation of families and priests. And, through multiple charities, we are able to care for the sick, the elderly, the immigrants, the less fortunate, and the spiritually poor—all of us who need God’s word, the sacraments, and the teachings of the Church.
